Giant structures discovered under Giza pyramid?
YouTube and social media is flooded (depending on your algorithms of course) by reports of these giant structures discovered underneath the pyramids of Giza. Columns that are 600m tall. This is not a new thing in that this has been hypothesized before.
Anyone got any thoughts on this?

Not as such, but every YouTuber or Podcaster interested in this kind of thing seem to be running with it.

If a god existed, it could be more of what some may consider as being alien as opposed to a representation of a human being. It would have no use for ears, a stomach, a mouth, eyes, a tongue, bowels, hands, feet and everything else that constitutes physicality that developed for a species on just one planet in the universe.
It could just be a colourless wisp of anti-matter.....
Not that there's a scintilla of evidence for such a fanciful concept, of course.....

Re: Giant structures discovered under Giza pyramid?
I saw the scans today of which the structures have been illustrated from (i didn't book mark it although I'm sure cccmb's finest will be able to locate), fair play how they came up with what they did :hehe:

If the scans were taken by the NHS, then 6000 years to finally see them isn't bad going as it stands.....

Widely discredited, it seems.

Heh, I was just talking about this to a friend and how people are misunderstanding what is being claimed, saying things like radar can’t penetrate solid ground, but that’s not what the scientists involved are claiming. They’re using radar to take readings of acoustic vibrations off the ground’s surface. Either way, it’s now all being peer reviewed, so it’s a sit and wait situation.

Re: Giant structures discovered under Giza pyramid?
an explanation of this is what they're picking up on the scans is basically compacted sand underneath the pyramids, that looks like a column.
makes sense that being underneath a giant pyramid for thousands of years could compact the sand like this

Up until a couple of months ago, it hadn't been published in any reputable scientific journals. (I'm not sure if that situation has changeds since then, though). From what I understand, reputable experts in archaeology and Egyptology (and this team of Italians were of neither cohort) are still not convinced of the claims concerned.

I saw some fairly sensible discussion on the subject, that sugested that the likely explanation was it was sand that had been compressed over the centuries by millions of tonnes of pyramid into effectively sandstone pillars, which is what the sensors were picking up

The so-called reputable experts on this matter are a joke. Exhibit A - watch / listen to Dr. Zahi Hawass' interview on the Joe Rogan experience.

LOL. You guys should spend a little time looking into these before going for the easy option of the accepted narrative. Did you watch those videos I posted?
I get why people fear being made fools of and would rather not consider such possibilities that go against the accepted narrative. Instead, you should keep an open mind on such things. At this point in time, none of the things posted above have been proved true or false. Until that time, try keeping an open mind.
How do you explain ancient Egyptian vases that have been made perfectly round and symmetrical out of hard stone, accurate within a thousandth of an inch. We would struggle to do that with today's technology, let alone the copper tools we are supposed to believe.

You are confusing reserving judgement pending better data with having a closed mind.
