Season tickets on sale 6th may

Re: Season tickets on sale 6th may
Prices frozen, but include booking fees. Extra if you want new card (I thought the idea was one card would last "forever"?).
Would they have upped the price if we avoided the drop?

Re: Season tickets on sale 6th may
They are too cheap if we are all honest about it.
But that’s one of few things the board does to well for us.

Re: Season tickets on sale 6th may
Brilliant value for the family ticket
Another year with no student tickets.
Another year with No armed forces discount.

At least they do reduced prices for over 60s. English clubs are usually 65,66 or 67

Yep. I know it's cheaper than some national league clubs.

Yeah I do wonder if city fans would assume tickets are much cheaper in league 2 national league and below but I'm not sure that's the case.
I know Southend starts at £400 in the national league.

Whatever way you slice it, it's very fan friendly pricing and it's one of the few things the club should be commended on. Maybe the only thing.

I'm not sure how the price is that relevant to that?
So if it was £150 would you then think that was good value- to be sad pizzed off and depressed every week? What's your tipping point to pay to get those feelings?

I assumed Southend tickets would be cheap. Looked for a matchday and they were £20-something, so not far off from us

Re: Season tickets on sale 6th may
Also considering they waited until we know what division we were in before announcing- and we've gone down and they've frozen prices- is it fair to assume had we stayed up they'd have risen them? :sherlock:
That would have made for an interesting reaction!

Re: Season tickets on sale 6th may
Good value IMO especially for coffin dodgers.

Has anyone got a list from last season at ninian park?
I've got a feeling grange end was £329 then?
Or from when we first moved into the stadium? I don't think they've gone up at all really.
Had they gone up in line with inflation since we left ninian park they would be significantly more than they are now.

I posted one a while back. Prices haven't changed much at all.
Even accounting for inflation, in terms of entertainment, they were much better value 16 years ago 😊

If it was £329 and purely from memory I've got a feeling it was- then that would be £561 now.

Re: Season tickets on sale 6th may
The only obvious caveat is match day tickets probably will be cheaper next season (not sure if they will do category A B and C again?) and considering our opponents we'd never be anywhere near selling out so will be a lot more seats and options available each matchday.
So the overall savings/convenience may not be as high as normal.

Re: Season tickets on sale 6th may
The oldest receipt I have was for the 2011/12 season and I paid £336 for an adult in the canton stand. This was made up of £329 for the ticket and £7 for the other unavoidable fees they always bolt on.

Club heard of shrinkflation and thought we're having a bit of that!

I actually don't think they will be. I think the club will keep the same structure, but just inevitably have more Grade C games, which presumably will be the standard.
I'm all for affordable football, but it's not the best way to sell season tickets, esp when many will be thinking of not renewing anyway

My first season ticket was 10 shillings and sixpence (62 pence for you young uns) in 1959 for the Canton Stand and I think that covered me for all the combination matches as well!
I still have it in storage, along with many footy magazines and programmes dating from about the 1920s.

Programmes from the 1920's are very, very rare ! Sounds an interesting collection..

Re: Season tickets on sale 6th may
can you purchase match day tickets for level 4 ?
