What happens now is we take an age to appoint a new manager, by which time all of the best options are no longer available. then we give it to someone already at the club, but too late to bring in their own players or stamp their own style on it
We sign 2-3 new players BEFORE there's a new manager in place, courtesy of our highly-esteemed transfer committee.
I don't think he will change, he hasn't in all these years and will probably see City's relegation as vindication of his scepticism of so-called football experts. Choo and Dalman will probably continue to try and be a bit too clever with their choice of manager - nothing so boring as picking someone with good experience at league 1/Championship level for them. Regarding Ramsey the only sensible option other than him leaving is a coaching role. The playing side was a sentimental failure and if you're looking to promote a player from this squad to manager, it would be Joe Ralls ahead of Ramsey.Quote:

He needs to bring in a proper structure and let people do their jobs, preferably full time people running the club day to day.

Where are those "candidates" coming from in the first place? Are they anyone identified as potentially a good fit, or are they just whoever contacts the club to say they're interested?

@CardiffCityFC
are looking at a host of options as manager. One or two would excite, couple of others semi at best, a few don’t appeal to me at all. Hopefully they’re ruled out. They’ll come up with a final shortlist of 2-3, then it’ll be Tan’s decision

VT presented the outcome of his review:
- The manager didn't do what he promised he would
- The players didn't stop the goals.
- The players didn't shoot and score.
Actions arising:
- MD & KC to send VT names of 3 manager candidates (2 internal, 1 external). Usual criteria apply.
- MD & KC to send VT YouTube videos of 2 players who stop goals, and 2 players who shoot and score.
- SB to draw up some waffle to read out to FAB
All sang "God save our gracious Tan" and VT left the meeting.
Celebratory danish pastries and coffee served before the meeting closed at 11:15am
