Notts county v Wimbledon at 8.
I have no idea what these teams are like so will be interesting to see.

Did the defender get a touch on the ball in the challenge for the header? If he didn’t, it’s maybe a worse mistake than the notorious one against Chelsea.
To answer my own question, no he didn’t. It’s a shocking mistake by the linesman.

As they are under contract they are ruled out I suspect.
Referee was one of the top five rated in the division last season,its certainly going to be interesting if that’s the highest standard ��,felt he let too much go early on and gave the impression that he was evening up the score in the second half.
I said I’d like Welles’s here, but his team were very direct in the first half especially. They got the ball down a little more in the second half and were better for it. I watched a fair bit of their game with Huddersfield last weekend and they were very good on the counter and pressed well - I didn’t think they played as many long balls either.Quote:

Hoping to catch some of the game this evening between potentially two strong teams we will be up against come next season.
Kind of hope Orient stay down, could be a good away depending on allocation.
Chesterfield 0 Walsall 2 at half time - we may be playing the team that was miles clear at the top at Christmas next season after all.

Well, that might be the most niggly, intense and physical half of anti football I’ve seen this season. 0-0 between Wycombe and Charlton - our shrinking violets would have to be persuaded to go back on to the pitch for the second half if they’d been facing forty five minutes of that.
Low on quality but I agree, we'd probably be struggling to cope. We're the complete opposite to what we were under Warnock.
The football is truly awful. A half decent team (like Birmingham) should walk that League. Merthyr Town play much more attractive football.
