One benefit of City being relegated to League One is that we don’t have to worry about missing any big games while booking holidays, gig tickets, etc, because there aren’t any.
Yep, Charlton would have beaten us, they won 1-0 in dull style by seeing out the game with a narrow lead just like we used to through much of the last ten years, but we can’t do it any more and, as we don’t fancy a physical challenge these days either, we haven’t got much going for us if the game is a tight one.Quote:

What I’ve seen of Lee this season he’s looked very dissapointing. I don’t think many would have been pleased if we signed Fletcher either or McClean, I’m not sure either are better than what we have.Quote:

Four of those sides did beat us, I still can’t work out how we got a point at Hillsborough and West Brom were woefully out of form when we played them in our final home game. I’m not saying Charlton are better than any of those six teams, what I am saying is that they have momentum, a good defensive record and know how to win games 1-0 - that would be enough to beat at least some of those six sides at least once over the course of a season (we managed to do it once in twelve games) I’m sure and would definitely be enough to see off the 24/25 City team.Quote:
