Don't think it is AI but it has been edited in a weird manner, the account looks a bit too credible to cart out an AI video.

It's edited, they're a legit site. They've just heavily condensed it to make it a clip

That kind of shit editing is quite common on content nowadays.

Re: Bale interview about 2nd offer
I thought it was odd Bale would give an interview to Front Office Sports. A media company I’m sure none of us had heard of.
It turns out they’re owned by an investment group called the Redbirds. :hide: actually they’re called Redbird International Media Investments (IMI). 75% owned by Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan no less. :sherlock:

But would we become the Redbirds if they take us over?

they own AC milan and Toulouse - Milan they bought for 1,2 bn - they certainly have the money, but if it was this group that bought us, we'd be a very small part of their portfolio

Whoever is behind the funding for the Bale led bid are clearly no mugs. They’ve played a blinder getting him involved from the very beginning.
If it is true that Tan has three offers on the table, then either of the other two groups would be off to a bad start if they end up taking over the club.
Regardless of paying more to Tan, could you imagine if a Dalman led consortium now takes over Cardiff? The dejection amongst the supporters would be awful, given the likelihood of continuing the same incompetent running of the club, whilst fully aware we’ve lost out on Bale’s involvement.
I think it’s probably time now for ‘the customers’ to have their say and let it be known who they want as the next custodians of Cardiff City.

Re: Bale interview about 2nd offer
From what we have heard from the trust and from Bale I just get the impression Tan isn't interested and there is no dialogue between the club and the potential buyers.
A bit like some random guy saying he has slid into (insert any attractive celebrity female) dm's for a fourth time and is eagerly awaiting any response.
I just don't see this happening this season sadly.

They may be playing a blinder in getting Bale involved at this stage but, if the takeover does happen, he could be dropped completely his front man job having been done. In any case, what does Bale know about running a football club ? If he hangs around after what use might he be in rectifying the abysmal way Tan runs the club ? When Messrs Reynolds and McElhenney took over Wrexham they got Peter Moore, the former Liverpool CEO in to help them set things up. That's the sort of expertise we need now.

Yes we should make it clear that this is "our" club and not some mega rich guy's play thing on a whim and a prayer.

Re: Bale interview about 2nd offer
You get Bale in,
You get Tan out,
Bale in, Tan out, and shake it all about.
You do the Ayatollah and we turn around,
That’s what its all about.

An experienced (and full time!) CEO is absolutely key, and hopefully whoever takes us over, whenever that is, realises that. I'm sure Bale isn't planning on actually running the club, but he could remain involved in the style of Reynolds and McElhenney.

Not sure how we do that, or why Tan would care.
If he sells, I’d expect it to be to the highest bidder. As others have said in other threads I don’t think he will sell, not because he wouldn’t be tempted, but because his valuation will be unrealistic

Anyone think that Bale speaking about this so openly, if a tad unprofessional, and not how this sort of thing should progress.

I think he’s trying to corner Tan which is exactly the kind of thing Tan won’t like. Could see him selling for less to Dalman’s lot.

Agree with this.
Bale and his mates are clearly trying to do something. Quiet deliberate bombs being dropped
Tan is a stubborn old chap though and won’t like games like that
Surprised some people seem happy about the prospect of Dalman

I think it’s because he’s not Tan so couldn’t be any worse. I’d hope Bale gets it but I really can’t see it happening with Tans unrealistic evaluation of us.
-
Re: Bale interview about 2nd offer
The potential it could be Redbird has honestly got me buzzed. I wouldn't be ardently against Dalman normally, but if Redbird is the alternative, then that's definitely better.
Bear in mind Tan is operating his price at an opening bid, so he'll be bound to go down slightly, especially when factoring in the relegation and loss of players.
Just hope we haven't read too much into it and end up disappointed.

I want him gone more than Tan.
He’s been chairman for what, 13 years now?
In that time, during his stewardship, the club has been plunged into a state of persistent debt.
There’s no way we can pay the levels of debt we’ve been saddled with and £40m odd of it is due to him and his ropey finance company!!
In any other industry he/Tormen Finance would be stripped of their financial license!
I’ll be gutted if he takes ownership of Cardiff City. We’ll be faced with another 15+ years of his shitshow incompetence!

I’d agree, wouldn’t want any of the current crop to stick around. Incompetent fools.

How can he corner Tan? Tan either accepts an offer or not.

There's a fair chance Dalman would be even worse. He's Tan without the money, look at the interest he's charging on his loans

Why? He's just as much to blame for this mess as Tan
