Desperate to lose weight ?
Knowing what you know regarding government pushed injections,, would you consider the weight loss injections currently all the rage?

Re: Desperate to lose weight ?
A man of your (our) age should just bypass that stuff and get on the 'Juice' instead, we're not going to live long enough to see the affects, but the benefits are huge in terms of appearance and how you feel. Get a bit of test and decca inside you, you'll look snd feel like a new man in no time....... :hehe:

😂 You'll not get me taking that stuff 😂 there was a bit on the box earlier about it, and the lottery of getting it by those who want to take it.

There's a simpler way, eat less and choose healthier food. Also investigate intermittent fasting.

That's another way, but a lot of people can't maintain a fitness routine. That's why I recommend fixing the foundations first and then everything else is a bonus.

walking or running regular is a foundation for me

Fasting puts your body into repair mode.

He’s talking nonsense as per usual.
Your suggestion is far more sensible and easier to maintain.
Intermittent fasting a “foundation” lol. He’s watched too many influencer videos on the internet.

Plenty people go to the gym and just walk on a treadmill. Especially in this weather.
Plenty of different gyms about, just finding the right one for you.
Exercise more, eat less calories, drink less alcohol is far sounder long term advice for majority of people than intermittent fasting.

Each to their own. I also exercise and do weight training, and I haven't seen a doctor or taken pill in over 15 years.

Exactly, that's why they do memberships because the fall off is quite high.

Of course you do. You spend every waking minute on here with your many multiple accounts.
You’re probably 20 stone, Walter Mitty,

This, although just get rid of Alcohol, full stop, it's lethal stuff when it comes to weight gain. Healthier diet as well, you can't out train a poor diet.

Re: Desperate to lose weight ?
Not keen on injections either. Went with meal replacement shakes instead. Used Shake That Weight for breakfast and lunch. Lost 12 pounds in a month. No needles. No side effects. Banana shake tastes fine. Just another option for people who want to lose weight without the jab.

Well done you. I guess all you have to do now is skip the bar-b-q season with Mozz and see what wonders it might do for your mental well-being!

That's a stretch, good work. The bit from your place to the roath rec is alright, from there isn't so scenic or shaded. Newport road is the pits...

Through heath park, down wedal road, across the Rec, up to Colchester avenue. Down to Newport road, only a short stretch on Newport road, right at the Pottery into New Road, through brachdy lane to end destination, we get the bus back home. Both ways is a bit too much for my calfs 😁

We take various routes, ( as far as i'm aware the taff trial doesn't go to Rumney from Heath) weather permitting we walk to Rumney most weekends, i did say we dont walk back!! but last night the busses were being cancelled so do did walk home as well, i did 21,000 steps yesterday, Doris did 23,500, she went out in the morning, the weigh in this morning disappointing with only 1.5 lbs loss but with my legs feeling it a bit its going to be a couch potato day today, i dont like being out with the bank holiday crowd, screaming fkin kids!!.

The Taff runs from North to South, Rumney is South East, (as you already know) if you went the Taff trail then you would be going the wrong way :hehe: The coastal path runs along the Rhymney river, around the back of the steel works and the gypsy camp. If you start by the magic roundabout then you can take that route.......Lovely......

Good work jon. Doing resistance exercise after a certain age is more beneficial than heavy cardio in my opinion. As we age our muscle wastes away. The core of our bodies is really important in terms of strength, mobility, basically everything that we do. There's a saying that is completely true and something that stuck with me from my playing days. 'From your knees to your nipples, the rest will look after itself.
