Trust Committee Elections
Did anyone else get the papers for the Trust Committee Elections today?
There are 6 candidates for 4 positions. There are statements from each candidate but only three have put their name on their statement.

Somewhat confusing, isn't it. How can you vote/not vote if you don't know who they are?

Re: Trust Committee Elections
I’m applicant 5 - if it helps it’s in alphabetical order and the ballot paper can reference who is who. The application process was split in 2, name, candidate number etc on page 1 and statement on 2.
I’ve assumed, incorrectly, that some common sense would prevail and the info would be combined.
The cynical side of me says it’s perhaps been done to confuse, given 3 are current members with close ties to election committee, but I’m sure that isn’t the case…

Details to rectify the missing names will be up on the Trust's website in the next few hours. I've just had an email back from Kieth M. stating such.

Re: Trust Committee Elections
Was a bit confused by the fact there were no names on some of the statements, as has been mentioned. I assumed the names matched what order the statements came in. Casted my vote and is in the post :)

You might be correct, but I don't like assumptions

The statements are in alphabetical order by candidate surname.

It's not easy to include a pre-paid envelope as an email attachment.

Re: Trust Committee Elections
New packs being sent out and AGM rescheduled:
"CCST Election Update
Dear Member,
We have received a number of representations regarding the Candidates' supporting documentation sent to members. Supporting documentation received from 3 candidates did not include their names amongst the personal details required.
Also, the Football Supporters Association (FSA) have insisted that we use sequentially numbered ballot papers issued to members. Some of our members expressed their reservations about this issue. In order to allay their concerns we consulted our printer who advised us that the specialist coloured paper used by him that is only available in the printing trade plus the specific return envelopes should provide the necessary security. The FSA were not convinced of this.
In order to assure fairness in the supporting documentation, we have corrected it to include the missing names of candidates and to satisfy the security concerns of the FSA we will reschedule the election with revised numbered ballot papers printed on different colour paper. Each member will now receive a revised pack. We have now put back the date of the AGM to Friday June 12.
In the light of the advice received from the printer regarding the ballot paper that was not acceptable to the FSA it has been agreed that the Trust will not bear the cost of the abortive mail out.
If you are yet to complete the original ballot paper and post it please do not do so and await the replacement.
CCST Election Committee"

I suggest that one of us strips to the waist, does some self-applied face-painting, dons a hat incorporating bison horns and leads the rest of us in storming the Trust offices.

Cor that's a blast from the past I've still got an email folder from 2005 with all the responses to me floating the idea of the ST on here 21 years ago!

Going on the result Number 5 is Rhys Stoneham-Bunce who is a newly elected member of the trust. If so well done!
