Re: C'mon England Lets Win ( great series )
28-1 c Bairstow b Woakes, in his first over.
Re: C'mon England Lets Win ( great series )
It looks very overcast as well , can see the light meters coming out today .
Re: C'mon England Lets Win ( great series )
India 3 wickets down at lunch and conditions for this bowling attack are nigh on perfect.
This can only mean one thing , Kohli is due a century .
In fairness this has been a great series.
Re: C'mon England Lets Win ( great series )
good scheduling to have this series at the end of August/September .
conditions now have got to suit England when we had that sunny spell earlier in the summer it could have been very different
Re: C'mon England Lets Win ( great series )
I'd normally be baying for a collapse here but I've spent a small fortune on hospitality tickets for day 4 so really need India to put some runs on here....

Yeah I was grateful for that. But he's out now anyway.
Oh well - I expect Pant will nudge it about a bit and look to stick around for a few sessions...
Re: C'mon England Lets Win ( great series )
Robinson is a good bowler
Re: C'mon England Lets Win ( great series )
England have done very well to turn this around.
can't see this one being a draw

Highly unlikely to be a draw simply because we are already in the third innings with less than two days played on a pitch that seems to
England are strong favourites to win yes, but we all know what happened in the second test match between the two sides and who's to say that being set a reachable target they will not do something similar.
India moving along nicely 40 for none.
It's been an excellent series mind fair play.

I'm not sure England are favourites- I'd say it's about evens now. I reckon I'll have some cricket to watch on day 4, but the draw is surely off the cards

It looks like you will get some play on Sunday but maybe not a full day. It’s nicely poised.

Re: C'mon England Lets Win ( great series )
How much of a lead do India need for a win?
Re: C'mon England Lets Win ( great series )
Well the pitch is getting easier and the weather forecast is hot and sunny for the next two days.
We saw England fail miserably chasing what seemed an easy target a couple of tests ago so my guess is that India will bat most of the day (assuming they don't collapse) and have a go at England in the last session by which time they should comfortably have batted themselves into a position where England cannot win.
Therefore I'd say anything around 300 and above will see them get at least a draw.
That said, India could collapse now and still win!
Re: C'mon England Lets Win ( great series )
All three results possible makes it interesting. It's what cricket should be about.
Re: C'mon England Lets Win ( great series )
India declare, England require 372 to win.
Pitch looks good.
Another cracking day in store tomorrow in the sun.
Re: C'mon England Lets Win ( great series )
India bowled out, I believe.
368 to win.

Ah I beg your Pardon, I was still running round the room at our Gareth's winner and missed the end.
