Ipswich Town...starting to falter?
Already 3-0 down v Leeds. Lucky to get draw v Norwich, Leicester to come Tuesday. Have they overachieved this season?
Re: Ipswich Town...starting to falter?
Lucky against Norwich is harsh, they should have been 3-0 up by the time Norwich got going. Not looking good today though

Of course they are over achieving.
They just got promoted from League 1 and have given the 3 relegated premier league sides a bloody good run for their money so far this season. 52 points at halfway stage is unreal for a newly promoted team.
Re: Ipswich Town...starting to falter?
They're still a bloody good side and at the very least I'd expect them to get a PO place..

They've got an 18 point buffer, if they don't make the playoffs something has gone seriously wrong :hehe:

We had a 10 point buffer in November 2006 and finished in the bottom half. At the time a 21 point buffer wouldn't have sufficed. We also had an 8 point buffer with 4 games to go in April 2009 and finished 7th.
Re: Ipswich Town...starting to falter?
Just speculation that perhaps they might be string to run out of steam. Essentially aDiv 1 squad with a few additions. I think they may find that Leeds and or Southampton may have more resources than them when it comes to crunch.
Can see us meeting them in the playoffs. (Cough)

Daft comparison. Ipswich have got nearly double the buffer and a lot less games to be caught.
