This is interesting. Quite a gamble by a team who are rated as second favourites to win the division next season.
Re: West Brom poach Barnsley's manager
They were probably impressed how he got a bang average team into the play offs It is a gamble though to hope he can go a step further with better players.

They were very direct, even more so than us

I wonder if they had a would you take Mike Flynn on their boards.

I’d imagine being a Yorkshire club, they’d probably have a “Would you take Neil Warnock” thread.

We went up with that tactic , it does work in short bursts , it is also includes a lot of commitment ,team togetherness , desire , physical strength and fitness

I don't disagree, but the thing about their play that made the biggest impression on me was the high press and very high energy levels. They maintained that by Valerian using all his subs early in the second half of games. He ran his midfield and forwards into the ground, and when they were dead on their feet he changed them (five subs helped him). We didn't - not under Harris and even less under Mick.

TLG - are you going to City games next season assuming we can?

Only if Vincents not going to be there.
Re: West Brom poach Barnsley's manager
It looks like Ismael is going to take Alex Mowatt with him to West Brom.

I'm only going to go to games if Vincent Tan's present and I can sit on Stan Butler's lap.
