People who do runners from Taxis
Re: People who do runners from Taxis
Crikey, finally a message of yours I can heartily agree with.
I browsed the Local Slags - https://www.localslags.co.uk/ - dating site earlier. Is it still your homepage?
I don't think it's healthy to spend so much time on your webcam waving your percy at the very rough women you make contact with on there.

I remember when you get could get from town to Barry for a tenner. Including a tip.
Re: People who do runners from Taxis
robbing from capitalist enterprises forces them to shut down and public transport will step up and fill the gap

The cabby I use carries a steel poker under his front seat so they must still get tossers on board

I guess that was my thoughts that these days the driver is more likely to smash runners with a bat or something, but yes I suppose there will always be some!

Re: People who do runners from Taxis
That's why all taxis should be london taxi vehicles. As long as the driver has his foot on the break no one can get out and because of the partition they cannot reach him, only put the fare through the slot provided in the partition.
Works both ways, if a driver (An unscrupulous one, very rare of course) tries to over charge a customer and the customer refuses to pay the exorbitant fare he has 3 choices, take him to a police station, reduce the fare or let him out.
Re: People who do runners from Taxis
Speaking of which, fares may be going up by almost a third...
