FT: BATH CITY 0 - 5 CARDIFF CITY.
Bluebirds in action this afternoon and will be wearing the new kit.
Just under 900 tickets were made available and they sold out pretty quickly. Because so many were sold to Cardiff fans they have decided to segregate the ground.
Bath City said: "Following new police instruction the Bath City FC v Cardiff City FC match this Saturday 10th July will now be subject to segregation between home and away supporters.
Bath City fans should now enter from the Bath End and may stand on the Popular Side and Bath End, and sit in the Grandstand.
Cardiff City fans should enter from the Bristol End and may stand on the Bristol End and sit in the Family Stand.
Holders of seated tickets are advised that seating for Cardiff City fans will be unreserved. Due to the late reallocation of space as a result of segregation, we can’t guarantee that all seating ticket holders can be seated. If you are keen to ensure a seat, please arrive early.
We’re sorry to say that all bars will be closed."
Mick McCarthy:
"We'll have two teams playing 2 x 45 minutes this Saturday as it is the first time back.
"You can't replicate the intensity without doing it, without being on the pitch and training as we've trained today. Even when you've done that the games are still a bit of a shock to the system when you start playing, especially if you do 90 minutes. We're all looking forward to it.
"They're all in good shape. They're happy to be back. I'm really pleased with them.
"They're a good squad of lads. There was a real togetherness last year and I think they integrate with anybody really well. The new lads are fitting into the squad. You can see the quality of the players we've brought in."
Kieffer Moore and Rubin Colwill not expected to take part after being away with Wales at the Euros.
Today's game kicks off at 3pm and is being streamed by Cardiff City TV.

Vassel being stretchered off with disco fever. They’re saying it’ll be about 18 months to 2 years before he can train again .

Fair enough, Colwill must be knackered after the work he did in Euros.
