Depends on your circumstances when you get home I suppose, with work etc quarantining for 14 days would be a nightmare for a lot of people (not you obviously being that you're home already)

Tory halfwit Minister Grant Schapps been caught up in this and will have to quarantine for 14 days.
He could still get off from it though by perhaps using a fake name for a laugh. Something like Mickey Verdi?

This.
I was trying to be diplomatic. But when you're right you're right. If you see something, say something and all that.

I think that there is only one moron on this thread and they have just identified themselves ☝️

Re: Anyone off to Spain in the next few weeks?
we can all guess the % of people who come back to the UK and think " Oh i feel fine, im ok " and continue normal life, my guess is about 25%

Re: Anyone off to Spain in the next few weeks?
TUI will refund or allow people having to quarantine (Canary and Balearics) to switch holidays with incentives, most of the others won't allow refunds.

Re: Anyone off to Spain in the next few weeks?
Personally, I think anyone going on any type of holiday at the moment, is s selfish little shit !!!!

Re: Anyone off to Spain in the next few weeks?
Spain had approximately 10 deaths in the last 7 days. The UK had about 450 deaths in the last 7 days. I'm surprised Spain is not putting UK citizens in quarantine.

Probably about right, but if they told their work colleagues where they were going, I’m sure they wouldn’t be allowed back into work.

All a ploy for people to ditch the foreign holiday this year, spend their money on travel, digs, entertainment, eating and drinking etc in the resorts of the UK perhaps, would be a boost the the economy locally. Would this government be cynical enough to do this?

Cynical enough, but not clever enough!
They don't have a plan. Certainly not a cunning plan. They make it up as they go along.

True, I gave them too much credit, though if millions snub the continent and holiday in the UK to avoid the possibility of being pissed about with rule changes you can bet your bollocks Johnson and his cronies will claim it as some kind of brilliant plan that saved the national tourist industry instead of admitting they stumbled into it.

Going abroad is irresponsible and pretty stupid IMO. So ITK is right on this one.

But it's allowed. Blame the Gov more than anyone for allowing it

I think its more about the infection per 100,000 of population, its twice the UK's
:""The rate of infection in Spain is 35.1 cases per 100,000 people, while the UK is at 14.7, according to the latest figures from the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control.
Data up to 19 July suggested there were far lower rates of infection in the Balearic and Canary Islands than in mainland Spain.""

I didn't say it wasn't.
I just gave my opinion on it.
There's no law about jumping off cliffs but people don't do it.

Are you having to change your holiday plans now WJ? Or can you quarantine after coming home with no real issues in terms of job etc?
