127-4. Just 22 behind! Decent stand but these 2 need to keep going. Lose 1..........

The prediction column which had us finishing third I mentioned earlier had Notts, who we play this week, finishing top and Durham second, so it’s a testing start for us and we could do with having our two Australian players available for Trent Bridge.
One important point to mention. Is that Alex Lees innings was essentially the difference between the sides. He was absolutely plumb lbw twice early Saturday morning, but neither were given. Was struggling to lay bat on ball for the first hour of his innings. Obviously huge credit to him for digging in, but we could have very easily been right in the game if he had been given.
Marnus back today! Ingram dropped from squad which must mean Neser is fit aswell. Looks like no Broad in the notts side either. Glamorgan 12/5 to win, draw no bet. Looks a tasty price to me
Yes but this is Glamorgan.
That 12/5 odds could easily be our first innings score!
Seriously though, it would be nice to get off to a flier, especially with those two class performers.
The team performs so much better when there is something to play for.
They put Notts in to bat on what looks a very green pitch, but the home side are going along at nearly five an over - 67-1 so far.
How quickly a game can change! Notts looked like they were starting to get away from us there. 2 quick wickets and they're 264 for 6
Two wickets for Labuschagne bowling medium pace - actually, he looks a bit quicker than that!
Great day in the end. Certainly wasn't expecting that about midway through the afternoon session. From Notts at 240 odd for 4 with 2 batsman scoring quickly. End up 270 runs behind with all 10 wickets left.
Credit to Salter and Lloyd aswell. It's hard to make a statement in 5 overs at the end of the day, but they've done it.
Just don't chuck it away this morning.
good solid start again this morning needed:thumbup:
Salter gone 46/1. Steady the lads.
oh dear
OH!!! Marnus 50/2.
I see that Ollie Pope has another century at the Oval.
Pity that England can't play every home game there.
Popped in after work to catch an hour or so before the close of play and saw him reach his hundred. They were playing on a wicket very close to the right of the pavilion end.
Hard to be too hard on Marnus, these things do happen even to the best batsmen in the world and he was helpfully in the wickets yesterday. Who said the standard in the county championship isn’t good enough ‘ey?!
