Miles better than the Reading game.

There's a semi decent player hiding in there somewhere but it's proving bloody difficult to find

Brilliant first half. Please get these 3 points.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v BIRMINGHAM CITY. Match thread
Very impressive first half. Many many years since passing and ball control of that quality.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v BIRMINGHAM CITY. Match thread
Oh for a centre forward.
This is the best balanced City side I’ve seen in years.
Wintle Sawyers Rinomhota in particular

Re: CARDIFF CITY v BIRMINGHAM CITY. Match thread
Excellent 1st half, shame we haven’t had a couple more. Need to keep it up but a number of very good performances, especially in the wide areas. I remember when O’Dowda signed and some were concerned about his lack of goals and assists but he’s looking like we will create plenty.

Really good football. Game should be over.
Cant keep missing chances like we have.
Well like Watters has.

Disagree apart from that one chance

The football has been exhilarating, this is light years away from the long ball rubbish fans have had to endure. Oh for a finisher though

Re: CARDIFF CITY v BIRMINGHAM CITY. Match thread
Lovely football from City. Just need to be more clinical.

I'll admit, I thought O'Dowda and Romeo were the two most average signings but they've both been far better than I thought they'd be. So far at least!

Re: CARDIFF CITY v BIRMINGHAM CITY. Match thread
Great team but Watters is out of his depth. Ditch him Steve or he'll undo all you're good work.

Makes you question why teams release players sometimes, O’Dowda has accuracy, pace, found space, plays off the shoulder, very impressive first half.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v BIRMINGHAM CITY. Match thread
Cannot remember such as a dominant City midfield.
Just missing a goalscorer. Bale would have had a hat trick.

This 100%. So much better to watch than getting played off the park while hoping for a set piece headed goal.

He's powder puff. Does not have the mentality to be physically strong he is out of his depth and needs to go

I'd even say three.
The half volley in the six yard box early on.
The one-on-one.
And the one where the ball was laid off to him but his first touch let him down.
Don't want to bang on because it's been a great performance and even Watters is playing better but he reeeeeeally should be on the scoresheet.

??? 1 he got his feet mixed up and fell on his arse.
We are opening them up time and again.
We are lacking a striker. I really hope he turns it around a goal might make all the difference (maybe). Hes probably got 15 minutes maximum to turn it around.

Yup. Collins slips him in and bang, goal... he doesn't get time to think about it.
Trouble is missed chances can play on the mind.
He needs a goal badly because ultimately goals is what he will be judged on and i think if he gets one he'll be ok.
Luckily Birmingham haven't offered much and AS YET it hasn't cost us.
Really enjoyable first half it has to be said.
