Re: Reading this, WOULD YOU GO TO A PUB NOW ????
How have people managed to develop symptoms, get tested and get the results since Saturday?
The idiots went to the pub when they should have been isolating and now, in all likelihood, have passed the virus on to others.

Re: Reading this, WOULD YOU GO TO A PUB NOW ????
you pays your money you take your chance
ive said it before, people are desperate to see some return to normal life
I didnt really used to drink in pubs anyway, so it would be a no from me, BUT saying that on one of my watsapp group a few of the lads have mentioned our fav local curry house / pub is open now, so shall we organise a night out, it takes us 3 months to get organised though

I see two of the pubs were at Burnham-on Sea.
Mind you, Burham folks are odd anyway - they are a law to themselves and have a cranky taste in music. The women are opinionated, raging feminists, often with a drink/grass habit. I'm not in the least surprised there was a spike there.

Re: Reading this, WOULD YOU GO TO A PUB NOW ????
These people must have gone to the pub after having been tested (for some reason) probably thinking "I haven't got it." As has been said, stupid and selfish.
But I suppose on the up side, 3 pubs from the thousands that opened is relatively few, but too soon to judge. It will be interesting to see how many of the people they came into contact with are now found to be infected.

Re: Reading this, WOULD YOU GO TO A PUB NOW ????
No
I wasn't planning on going back to a pub until they were opened properly anyway

Re: Reading this, WOULD YOU GO TO A PUB NOW ????
I haven't even read it and I wouldn't go to a pub. I don't think I'll be drinking out of unwashed glasses or peeing in public bathrooms until there's a vaccine. I wouldn't even dine outdoors at a restaurant. I don't fel the need to.

Re: Reading this, WOULD YOU GO TO A PUB NOW ????
I didn’t realise a pub would have to close again if one person who had visited it later tested positive for Covid-19. What a load of nonsense that is. Complete overreaction, as seems to be the norm these days.
Can you imagine if every shop or supermarket that was visited by someone who later tested positive for Covid-19 had to close? We’d all be starving to death.

Re: Reading this, WOULD YOU GO TO A PUB NOW ????
Pubs are boring , full of drunks telling boring stories about their boring lives and mumbling their words and pissing on the toilet floor

People usually go to pubs to spend time with their friends, which basically rules you out.

I dont know if its all 3 pubs but the landlady of one made the decision to close herself. Only a temporary closure.

Aye boring friends who after a couple of pints start mumbling and talking shite
Pub bores , propping up the bar , deadbeats
Remember when we spent 2 minutes in the gents in the duke of clarence after a trust event ?
You were half cut and couldnt piss straight
That's two minutes of my life I will never get back
