O/T is there a shortage of car parts (not chips)

Had a minor prang in our nice shiny new Peugeot 5008 (typical!). Still driveable just some bodywork damage

It will need some replacement trim and one of the sites I am on says that there is a shortage of parts such as bumper and wings in Europe.

Does anyone know if this is true ( I am hoping Jimmy and Des will see this)

Yes there's a shortage of stuff coming from Europe because of the expense now that there's no free trade with the EU.
