Forget how good they are in relation to us, it must be incredibly frustrating - they've got some incredible attacking players but Southgate is really conservative in his team selection, they're starting tonight with 5 at the back, and Henderson and Rice in midfield. I think they did similar in their last Nations League games as well
Until he's confident with what his first choice centre back partnership is, I think he'll stick to 5 at the back. Shame really, as you say, it means hes playing one attacking player fewer.
