I detect a bad case of the Four Yorkshiremen coming on!
I reckon we'll be lucky to finish 5th in the group with a goal difference of minus 20 and a record-breaking 17 red cards. They'll play GSTQ by mistake instead of our anthem, the fans will be sent to the wrong stadium - every match - and the half time orange wedges will turn out to be lemons! But in 30 years time we'll all meet up to drink Chateau de Casselas and look back fondly on the greatest tournament of our lives. Bah gum butt.

Too many jelly babies here. We are going to be the surprise package again.

I'm not so sure on that. Group B would have had us up against Russia, Belgium & Denmark. That's definitely a tougher group imo. Groups C and E would have been tough as well

There's a group containing world cup runners up and semi-finalists as well.
Looking forward to seeing this amazing Turkish team that seem to be having smoke continuously blown up their arse. Its amazing what a win against France 2 years ago can do for you reputation.
Fine margins at international level, nothing between the 3 weaker teams and I honestly don't think Italy are streets ahead either. I think this group and THE group of death (for oblivious reason) are the ones harder to predict. :-)

Spent 18 months back and forth to Basel recently, you could have just ended that statement there :hehe:

The Turkish fan in this piece says " I expect us to qualify comfortably from one of the weaker groups in the competition";-

Tough group but Turkey and Switzerland will be just as worried about facing us as we are about facing them
