Massive explosion in Treforest

My granddaughter goes training in a gym at the top end of the Treforest trading estate on Tonteg Road.

Tonight there was a massive explosion behind the Griffin Mill garage on Tonteg Road at around 19.00

My granddaughters group had to evacuate their gym

Nothing on wales online yet but I am sure there will be. No idea of any casualties yet

Major incident now declared by South Wales Police

11 Fire service vehicles in attendance

I believe the gym is severely damaged

My son was on the estate when it happened, he had taken my grandson to some sort of indoor shoot em up paint balling, they had to cancel it and evacuate.
