End of an era for him as Wales manager surely

It's awkward because he's not been found guilty of anything yet, but he should seriously think of resigning now or, at the very least, he should step aside completely to allow Rob Page, or someone else, to take us to the Euros.
There goes his knighthood again :
Great opportunity for Wales this , put a past successful International manager in place in the guise of Mick McCarthy as a dual role as City /Wales Manager, save a fortune , that would attract all the young Welsh talent to the City , bingo World Cup and Premiership within our grasp.
This settles it now for the Euros, Rob page in charge.
There was a report earlier from Paul Abbandonato which suggested the following:
Unless the charges are dropped before the Euros I cannot see Giggs being allowed to continue in his unofficial capacity and greater responsibility falls to Page and coaching staff. This is somewhat disappointing because, after a shaky start, Giggs' plan seemed to be working quite nicely for us and being a senior member of the staff down does mean things are going to be missing or more rushed in terms of preparation of Welsh camps - that would explain imperfect communication before last squad - when it was such a strength of the last tournament campaign.Quote:
Page doesn't inspire a Welsh nation the way a figure of Giggs' stature does, but he's performed a pretty decent job thus far in his six games as caretaker and behind the scenes the FAW have discussed him as option number one.
It's not just about Page, though, it's also about Giggs' other coaches Albert Stuivenberg and Tony Strudwick.
It's bad enough losing their manager, the last thing the players want so close to the Euros is further huge upheaval in Wales' coaching methods at this point.
Page has been quite open in admitting Giggs has been involved in an unofficial capacity during the November and March international camps. He's also watched each of Wales' six matches in his absence and offered Page guidance on what was good, what could have been done better.
When it comes to match-day substitutions, though, those have been entirely Page's own calls.
If Giggs is out of the Euros, it would be very much Page's ship to run.
I felt that Giggs was repairing his Welsh reputation well but will avoid commenting further on him with more to come out about what he's alleged to have done.
They should throw away the keys
As a player, he was only Welsh whenever he wanted to be. I couldn’t give a toss if his career in football is over.
He should just resign and there should be a brand new recruitment not give it to page by default.
He’s let his country down once again. Don’t forget he admitted he would have retired from international football mid group EVEN IF Wales has still had a chance of qualifying. This is the last straw and he should go.
Gents. He is innocent until proven guilty. Perhaps we should await the outcome of his trial.
He must leave now. It's beyond embarrassing.
Never thought he was good for my country.
Sad end but it's over.
As bad as it is for Giggs, as a Cardiff lad can we leave it slide for a while then get all behind him to be manager for City?
Does that only apply for Bellamy?
