I read this earlier, he is talking absolute common sense. It would be hard to ratify football restarting if there’s any danger to health. Interestingly he mentions German football when this has happened...

Maybe as his side are not really relegation threatened, who knows, but he’s the only one who seems to be coming out with any logic and trying to be constructive.
The grumbles and barriers being put up by the relegation threatened teams are so transparent and as Parish says, short sighted. They are so concerned about losing the premier league money that if they’re not careful they will lose it all anyway if they can’t finish the season and can’t start next season until things are “back to normal”.
Football is an industry that can not afford to simply shut down for a year. Just because it’s a sport it’s still a business and an industry has huge impact on the surrounding communities.
