I do suppose that Denis Law, who was a fantastic header of the ball, experienced, at least in his early career, the old heavy leather laced up ball. That couldn’t have helped. Bit of a worry for women named Carol though.Quote:

There are lots of causes of this awful disease , there is a lot of discussion at the moment about the tragic deaths of football and rugby players from dementia , some of whom may have developed the disease from brain trauma . Many have not .
Our very own Brian Clarke died from dementia , I do not know if heading the ball was the cause of his death .
