UPDATED: QPR appoint Marti Cifuentes
...according to this report, although it also claims the Hoops are keen on persuading Neil Warnock out of retirement:-

Could Pearson stabilise them?

Maybe not, just read about Pearson's health!

That's them staying up if he does!
He would have had us safe weeks before Sabri if he had come to us last season.

The problem with appointing someone like Warnock is that you end up kicking the can a year down the road. He might keep you up, but he's not going to sort out the reasons you were there to begin with. Warnock leaves early the following season and within a couple of months you're in a worse place than a year before.

Suppose that happened and Warnock started the season with us instead of Bulut. Do you think we'd be 5th, playing some good football, scoring goals, winning derbies etc?

Definitely not, sack him as soon as we are safe or on the last day of the season and still recruit Bulut, Warnock is a Red Adair.
Re: UPDATED: QPR appoint Marti Cifuentes
been studying this fella and looks like he's in the same mode as Bulut in how he shapes his team by the looks of it the 11 a side futsal model as i call it :hehe:
Will be an interesting tactical battle when we play them

But that would never have happened and there'd be a clamour from idiotic City fans for him to stay on. Dalman would see that it might mean season ticket sales and keep him on.
We wanted to keep Lamouchi, so that suggests we'd have done the same with Warnock. Thankfully Lamouchi decided not to stay.

I don't think that would have happened Eric, most fans now fully understand what you get from an aging Warnock, and that's a solid no-nonsense team that will battle their way out of relegation, ugly effective relegation protection that will keep you ready for a rebuild.
There is no way Dalman would have kept him any longer than the end of the season.
Lamouchi was a completely different prospect, he struggled to keep us up with what we had but looked a much better long-term option, I thought he would have been all we could get, but it turned out miles better than I was expecting with Bulut!

They certainly like him, will that translate to a low in confidence struggling QPR?
It will be interesting to see what happens?
