The Club’s “POPPY BADGES”
I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but it’s worth remembering our ex servicemen/women, at these times.

The football badge addition isn’t for me but can’t knock raising money for a good cause.
Re: The Club’s “POPPY BADGES”
It's to remember our soldiers sailors and airmen that I said I'd like one of the sides of the ground named after my Uncle Arthur.
He was playing for City when the war started and was, along with many others conscripted into the Royal Air force.
Guess where he was posted? (No googling :hehe:)

Half right, but she knew exactly where he was----- home every night, while her sister, my mum, waited 4 years for my father to trudge round N Africa Italy France and Germany. It was tough being a footballer even then see! :hehe:

No, I was purely thinking of cowardice or a chance of getting away from the wife for 6 years.
So was he actually posted in Cardiff?
