Little things that make you feel good.
I'll go first.
Finding money in a coat pocket that you haven't worn for ages.
Waking up ages before the alarm goes off and knowing that you can go back to sleep.
Driving through a busy junction just as the lights change to orange.

Cant agree with the alarm one, I can never get back to sleep for ages :(
Giving money to those less fortunate. Not that I do it as much as I could but it does give me a nice feeling when I do.

I know what you mean, but I sometimes wonder if I've just given someone money to help them score some drugs

Most likely but then I think they might need the drugs / alcohol to help them get through the day.
I was with my kids on Queen Street the other day (I have two girls 11 and 7) and there was one girl in the shop door way, couldnt have been no older than 16/17, and she was out of her head. I shouldnt really have given her any money as I know it was going to go on smack but she just pulled on the heart strings as she wasnt that much older than my eldest daughter.

Does scrounging count as a hard days work these days?

Re: Little things that make you feel good.
Thai chilli coated peanuts. A joy on the way down shortly followed by an hour of scrunch-faced indigestion.
