No Oligarchs exist without the continued permission of Putin, which makes the Tories defending the Russians they take money from, party with, appoint to the house of lords and give contracts to, pathetic, absolutely pathetic.
Sounds a really selfless gesture so fair play to him. Can't imagine it's got anything to do with the putin and Russia situation- definitely not.
Also no way this is just a late, cynical attempt at finding a loop hole to evade the sanctions coming his way either. Credit where it's due. 👍
To be fair to him, it looks like he's going to be involved in the peace negotiations at the request of the Ukrainians. Hopefully he has some influence with putin, at the very least he can hopefully pass on how badly the Russian actions are being recieved .
