Neco Williams............
started for Liverpool at Brighton today and gave away an early penalty which Maupay promptly knocked wide before disappearing down the player's tunnel never to be seen again. Salah had a goal disallowed by VAR for offside, but Brighton are the better team and I think they may win this - 0-0 at half time.
Re: Neco Williams............
Apart from the pen how's he doing?

Don't go on Twitter, Neco. You'll never walk alone, unless you don't have a great game then get lost.

Didn't think he played too badly, but Liverpool, rightly, decided they needed more in midfield and so Milner was switched to right back and Henderson brought on.
1-0 to Liverpool thanks to another goal from Jota, who I thought was a poor signing at the time :hehe:.
Re: Neco Williams............
injury time equaliser for Brighton from a VAR given penalty
Re: Neco Williams............
What a weird penalty. Is that really a foul?

He kicked the man without kicking the ball. The slow mo replay makes the ref have to give the penalty. In real time I never even considered there had been a foul

Watch it at normal speed and it's nothing. Very very soft.

So that was clear and obvious really ?? Are they going to check every challenge in the area now when there is contact ?
Just because there was contact doesn’t mean it was a penalty.

Who's the CCFC representative on the commentary?
Oops, wrong thread.
