Premier League Relegation
Burnley winning, Everton losing.
A massive 2nd half for both teams.
Re: Premier League Relegation
Stays like this Leeds will need to beat Brentford or they are down.

Burnley going down would be the best outcome.
There was talk on the radio earlier that they are in a perilous financial situation and could free fall.

Leeds going down would be best because it's Leeds.
Danny Ings on for villa tho....
Re: Premier League Relegation
There's a quote on the BBC website that Everton fans were crying cos they've avoided relegation. People are idiots.
Re: Premier League Relegation
Leeds look doomed.

If Forest go up, we'll need a side we can get 6 points from.

I heard the same piece on the radio, the new owners borrowed £65m against the club to enable the purchase, so they'll lose £55m in tv revenue and have to service a £65m debt in the Championship. I think they also said 9 players are out of contract at the end of the season.

If Forest don't get promoted and Leeds drop that's a 12 point bonus.

although Derby went down and we usually do well against them
Re: Premier League Relegation
Imagine a league containing all our bogey teams. Now that would a nightmare. Give me one with Forest, Leeds, Derby and Preston any day.
Re: Premier League Relegation
a team from the independent marxist republic of scouse saved by a tory , oh the humiliation.
Re: Premier League Relegation
Burnley and Leeds not happy about Everton's spending. They've gone way over on FFP, but are claiming £170m of their losses were due to covid (way more than other clubs have said it cost them). https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/61529371
Re: Premier League Relegation
I can't stand Everton but if its not to be them then please send Leeds down

So basically every team that gets relegated these days looks for something to sue the club that manages to escape the drop

Do clubs use the woman's team as a way of offsetting losses , rather than invest more in development and give the players higher (and more equal ) wages then they are currently receiving?
