Rock star - Welsh follows the City
😄👍
He supports Cardiff Blues and Nottingham Forest
The bloke in a skirt supports spurs
The little chap on drums , Liverpool
They drape a welsh flag over the speakers at gigs
It may as well be a cross of St George

I like Kevin Carter , Motorcycle Emptyness and a few others but not enough grunt for me
Re: A certain Welsh City following rock star...
Motorcycle Emptiness is a great song. 29 years ago. The sentiment behind Kevin Carter is good. But it's not a great song. That none of them are City irks me.

A few of the SFA are the only city fans I know of

I agree Sludgey. On top of that they really are a dreadfully boring band. I've heard quite a bit of their stuff over the years as a mate was into them big time. Nothing at all gets the pulse racing. Just sheer dirge

In 2002 I was running a national sales division for a big brewer and one of the perks was the ability to take customers to big sporting and music events … I’d been lucky enough to do some ‘money can’t buy’ things over the years and occasionally I could find a way for that to include Wales or CCFC…
A customer of mine was pals with Sean Moore (the Manics ‘little’ drummer) and this customer wanted to go to the Cardiff v Leeds FA Cup tie but wanted to bring Sean with him. We sorted it out… the club had extra hospitality organised at the old athletic stadium and we used that… and then had seats in the Grandstand…
Judging by my conversations with Sean and how he celebrated our goals I’m pretty sure he had some passion for CCFC, although he did retreat rather quickly when it all kicked off at the end of the game🤣.
Unrelated but similar… Same customer but this time the game was the play-off semi against Stoke.. he again brought along a guest but this time it was Nicky Piper…who was really good company

According to Wiki, Moore is a Liverpool fan! Sounds like he was only after the free beer!

sadly there are many deluded souls out there who think you can be both.
I remember when I went to uni Cardiff were in the basement division and a guy there refused to believe that I didn't also support a premier League side as well as Cardiff

Piper is a bright bloke. I'm always a little envious of people who achieve both academically and practically, or in Piper's case, a World level Boxer. I say envious, although in a healthy way, Of course.

Money can't buy that sort of experience.....
Actually, it can. And apparently it did.
