FT: Huddersfield 0 - 1 Forest
Got a sneaky feeling for the Terriers today.
Should be a good game.

Re: Huddersfield v Forest
Momentum and experience with Forest for me .
What odds would you have got at the start of the season for these two fighting for this prize ??

They just said we’re the last side to lose a Championship Play Final after scoring first and that was twelve years ago. Don’t want Forest to win, but I think they’re going to.

Re: Huddersfield v Forest
Have I missed anything? Can see it’s 1-0 Forest thru an own goal.

The surname Colwill is synonymous with Forest.

In the 90s there were a few topsy turvy games where teams lost leads. Reading lost after being 2-0 up in 1995 and that's the only time a side has not won after having a 2 goal lead. Since 2000, in 22 finals, only 2 sides have won from behind. In fact, since then, only 5 equalisers have been scored (3 by Blackpool in their 2 finals).
Sunderland failed to win promotion after leading 3 times in a final. We failed after leading twice.

Re: Huddersfield v Forest
Yeah we needed reminding about Blackpool.😂😂😂

Re: Huddersfield v Forest
What is the point of VAR. Colback clearly clipped Tofolo
-
Re: Huddersfield v Forest
That was a penalty...no doubt....
-
Re: Huddersfield v Forest
That was a penalty and I can't see how that wasn't given.

depends on the angle. I was convinced it was until the final VAR view and then thought they got the decision right

Agreed. Had that been given against us we'd all be livid.

Better than the 4-4 between Charlton and Sunderland, or Bolton coming from 2 down to beat Reading, or even Swindon letting a 3-0 lead slip against Leicester in 1993 only to pinch it late on?
Ah, they weren't "Championship" playoff finals, but Division 1 as it was (after it was Division 2.....)
