Cannot blame him, 3 years left on his contract and could find himself not even making the bench at Liverpool, so myself i would not sign an extension, at least if he is not long in the first team then he would not have to hang about for say 5 years!
The longer this is going on the better he is getting in my mind. He’ll be the future of Liverpool in another couple of weeks.
