I saw Sister Rosetta Sharp on a blues package tour circa 1963/63. It included Otis Spann, Brownie McGee and Sonny Terry and (what was his name....? Oh. yes...) MUDDY WATERS! Had never seen a woman play an electric guitar before that day. Shattered a few delusions, I can tell you.
Reckon that trumps your occasional viewings of Trower at the Bridgewater Bridge and Social Club, ole fruit...

Re: Best two female singing voices....?
Mariah Carey , Adele, and also Ruby Turner.

Re: Best two female singing voices....?
Brenda Lee and Nina Simone. Of the more recent ones I have come to like Amy Whitehouse.

I have never seen Monsieur Trower in Bridgwater (not Bridgewater), you name-dropper :-)
I saw Johnny Winter in Exeter and Frome though...

A pale imitation of Etta James IMO. (Double entendre intended. :-) )

Re: Best two female singing voices....?
I would have to say Roberta Flack. The most touching female singing voice I have ever heard. For me she's a 10/10.
As previously mentioned, Karen Carpenter, also a great voice but by comparison to Ms Flack an 8.5/10.

I certainly didn’t deduce ‘majority’ from those listed.
Joni Mitchell, Nina Simone and Siouxsie Sioux for me

Re: Best two female singing voices....?
Rikki Lee Jones had a cute voice

Whitney Houston is dreadful in my opinion. Karen Carpenter was marvellous as was Dusty. Annie Lennox is another of my favourites. Brenda Lee could bang ‘em out as well.

Re: Best two female singing voices....?
Are we talking duets or just the best two female singers?
If the latter then for me:
1 - Emmylou Harris
2 - Joan Baez.
If you don't know them, give them a go.

Whitney’s mum was pretty good though Cissy Houston - Aretha’s backing singer.

I first saw that video on one of the BBCs very good music documentaries and had to wind it back three off four times because I couldn’t believe what I was watching - I’m sure that’s one of my mum’s old coats.

I saw Muddy Waters in the 80s. I would have loved to have seen the others, but I was only 2 in 1963

Ruby Turner is good. I saw her with Alexis Korner at the Marquee Club in the early 80s
