Ive just returned from a week in Cornwall. I didn’t see any sharks but I did see gulls attacking kids to steal their ice creams. Does that count as a spectator event.

they used to have a issue In Sydney ( and surrounding area's ) with the Chinese cutting the dorsal fins of small sharks ( mainly the port Jackson shark ) for the food market  got to a point where the PJ shark was declining in numbers quiet dramatically, we Bumped into 2 guys doing it when we did a night dive, the local dive community were very active in being confrontational about it

Re: Shark Attack In Cornwall ?
A shark will only attack you if you are wet. That’s worth remembering.
Re: Shark Attack In Cornwall ?
There's been a few shark attacks off Long Island in the past couple of weeks. Immature Great Whites. Still about 8' long though.

They're all sorts of sharks that have been tagged. If you click on the shark icon you can see where they've been. And see the shark's species, weight, age when tagged etc.
