The side that hasn't won in Cardiff since New Year's Eve 1938, unless I've missed something, is Newport County. They got through an FAW Premier Cup tie on penalties in 2008 after a 1-1 draw. But in all that time they've not won here in the league, English or Welsh cups.
I know I'll get stick for this comment, as I do from my County mates, but Newport County are not the same team. They are a new club , like Accrington Stanley, AFC Wimbledon and a few others yet claim the history of the original club. That should wind up the County lot.Quote:
