With the money coming in we should be able to afford to convert our Category 2 Academy to a Category 1. It costs a lot but it'd be a centre of excellence for the medium and long term. If we can't afford it with Prem money then when can we?
If we don't then young players like Cardiff City Academy's Player of the Year, Sion Spence, could be snapped up by clubs with a Cat 1 and we couldn't stop them.
