Welsh Water “Not for PROFIT” - Bollocks

Sorry guys but I’ve really got to get this off my chest!!
I’ll paint you the picture
Mother in law has got Altzheimers disease
Progressively gotten worse to the point she cannot look after herself
She’s been sectioned by the local Authorities and is now in their protective care
We as a family haven’t got power of attorney
Her house is empty and has been for a twelve month with the prospect of her ever moving back nil
My wife for the last few years has been paying all the bills on her behalf as she simply doesn’t have the capacity to do this herself
We rang up the utility companies explaining her situation wanting the direct debits to be cancelled
Gas company- no problem- fantastic
Electric- no problem
BT - no problem
Sky etc - not a problem

Fecking Welsh Water with its strap line of being- “NOT FOR PROFIT”
Refused point blank to cancel her Water Bills
I’ve got to get it out there that Welsh Water said “Because we are collecting the rainwater off her roof and dispersing it through our system- she has to pay in full”
UNBEFECKINGLIEVABLE !!!

Bottom line I said good luck with collecting payment
It’s all in her name and she’s in X Hospital
