It's got to be to do with how we set up. Away from home we play a bit deeper, it suits our defenders, at home the gap between midfield and defence is a little bigger, our defence and midfield don't particularly like it that way, and teams know this by pressing us when we have the ball, forcing us into mistakes. That's what i reckon, we get better results when we play deeper.
Warnock generally kept us going with strong home form it seemed.
It feels like Harris has built on the solid defence but loosened us up a bit.
I think not having fans has been a huge difference tho.
It's why I feel all form and previous stats are irrelevant. Each football match in each league without the whole sum of the parts is an anomaly. Pre-pandemic football is not post-pandemic football. There are so many influential factors - fans being one of the biggest but not the only factor.
