Why we are at where we are at. IMO.
I’ve posted before about intersectionality and Post Modernism...some may have read and agreed or thought “what a **nt”
Here’s a bit of depth or at least something close to how I have come to form my views...
If you are remotely interested that is.

Of course , plenty of us are interested
The idea of science over faith is my main guiding belief
Applying that to human nature is difficult though
Thatcher offered cut price council housing to solid labour voters who said I will have some of that and voted tory . Then when she sold off the nationalised industries and they lost their jobs they turned against her .

That's a long article. I think I read it, therefore I did.

No. It’s that the toxic seeds sewn by Stalin back in the 40s within Cambridge University and various British institutions have grown and thrived.
We lost.
End.

Reminds me of the time an accounting professor slid a paper across the desk to me and said: "I've written a paper that I think may interest you".
Title of his opus: "Sociology, Marxism and Double-Entry Book-Keeping".
I literally fell off my chair laughing. He never spoke to me again.

Any particular aspects of the article that raised such a memory?

Hiya, take it easy. I'm not having a pop at you at all.
Never, personally, seen anything in deconstructionism. Most people I know would have no idea who Derrida or Foucault are. So, fair play if you're into it. I think this may be the wrong forum if you want a discussion of post-modernism.
Basically, if life as you experience it is the only game you know and can "access", you may as well play it as best you're able.

Fair play. 👍
This is really the only forum that I interact with strangers.
It’s a forum like any other where people offer their political or cultural feelings.
I get a bit angsty in the morning after a glass of bravado that my words may have been a bit too strong.
Anyway...my political leaning has been called out and questioned a fair few times as has everyone else who has offered their‘s.
I’m a Blue Collar Labour Voter.
I can’t vote for intersectionality though.
Just make a Venn diagram of its parts and see what is staring you in the face.
The article, while long speaks to my opinion.
They are atheist and I’m not.
Hope that offers some counter weight.
