Legend has it that one morning Jamaica woke up and U Roy was number 1 2 3 4 and 5 in the charts. I seen him about 5 year ago down the 100 club in Oxford Street although he was getting on he still had that magnetism that great artists are gifted with.

You are lucky matey, to have seen the great man in concert. I've missed so many of the reggae greats who are no longer with us. The list is too long for me to type it out here....One of my favouirte ever concerts was Culture and Tradition at the old Top Rank in April '77

Yes i was there at those two concerts. I thought Culture were brilliant. They went on to be one of the greats of reggae. Never heard much more of Tradition though.
