00s Tony Vidmar was sent off in the 3-3 League Cup win that finally saw Neil Alexander save a penalty for City in the shoot-out.

Yes, Vidmar was one of the three.
Two more to get with the 00s question and there's still the 70s one to get.

Is that 'up to and including' or just 'up to' ?

Lee Baddeley must be right unless we had a player named Hut Hopeless and I'm sure I'd remember him if we did.
Nugent and Boland are the other two for the 00s.

Not quite. Alexander saved one at Walsall over a year before. The rebound went in, though and there was a feeling that Alexander was diving out of the way and the ball accidentally hit him.

It is Lee Baddeley and you've got the other two players to receive red cards.

You are right. I was at that game and Gareth Whalley equalised in the last minute. From memory he knocked the tame penalty into the ground and up and the taker put it in the net when he was still on the floor.

That's how I remember it as well - Alexander was a good keeper for us, but his record when it came to penalties was a joke (it didn't help him that we seemed to conceded one every other game when he first signed for us mind!).
