He’s going to enjoy himself over there.
Go Gareth go! :wales:
Don't need him. We've got Sheyi Ojo.
That goal doesn't happen in the Championship :hide:
See if you reach the same conclusion after watching Toronto FC’s 3rd and 4th goals yesterday.
I think I understand why but there are posters on here who have a naively high view of what standard the Championship is, and it’s really not that great.
MLS isn’t either but a best MLS select starting XI would comfortably beat a Championship one, and would easily hold it’s own in the Premier League
Hes well past his best but still far too good for that league.
If he stays fit its easy money for him.
Hes made the right decision for himself.
Bale scores again.
In case you were wondering what MLS defending looks like:
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Take it yourself, <a href="https://twitter.com/GarethBale11?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@GarethBale11</a>! <a href="https://t.co/NGdDXZ4rAG">pic.twitter.com/NGdDXZ4rAG</a></p>— Major League Soccer (@MLS) <a href="https://twitter.com/MLS/status/1556134025634406401?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">August 7, 2022</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
And to think he could have been watching the ball flying over his head in the final twenty odd minutes at Reading eh.
At least he’s getting game time, and doesn’t look like any danger of defenders getting anywhere near him. In hindsight, USA was the best move for him. Warm weather, fitness, good for Wales.
He hasn't encountered defending like that since school. Maybe they'll restrict him to just using 1 foot again
