Are you organising one of the 15 already planned in Wales or is yours separate?

Seriously for a minute I can't believe anyone is wasting their life celebrating the marriage of two people they don't know
They both seem nice enough people but I couldn't give a feck

Re: The Royal Wedding , I am organising a street party
We had a street party in Ely for the Queens silver jubilee. Ended in a big scrap lol!

That's my point. It seems there have only been 15 applications in the whole of Wales to "celebrate" Harry Hewitt's marriage to a B list celebrity. Perhaps the people of Wales are really starting to realise the irrelevance of this family to both Wales and the 21st century. What I did find quite alarming is that half of the 15 applications are in Rhondda Cynon Taf.

I find people interested in the royal family bizarre
I wouldn't mind 15 minutes of love with the lady but as far as the fuss goes , no thanks
It shows how fecking dumb it is .......the sons of the prince of Wales ......one supports England over Wales in rugby and the other night the other brother was supporting Aston villa over the capital city of his father's kingdom
Why does he support that lot ?

The ones in RCT have been organised by local burglars to get as many houses as possible unoccupied in the area.

Re: The Royal Wedding , I am organising a street party
I have fond memories of street parties , people were friendly and neighbors were better trusted .
Is anyone thinking of running a coach up to Windsor on the day

We had a street party for the PoW investiture in 69. Our end of the street went ok, the other end had big trouble, when it all calmed down, each house had their own "party" in the street to show that they weren't upset.

Re: The Royal Wedding , I am organising a street party
When I lived in Bridgwater there was a street party to commemorate the anniversary of VJ Fay in the cul-de-sac I lived in. It was crass enough to hear 'We Are The Champions' blasting through the loudspeakers. Even crasser considering that a Japanese guy was living n the cul-de-sac at the time.

Re: The Royal Wedding , I am organising a street party
Don't bother inviting me. In 1977 there was a street party for something to do with our Royal parasites and I was asked how much I'd be contributing for the food and drinks. I just said "nothing" and I slammed the door. I'm thick skinned but I can still remember the hate looks I got on the day of the party. I had to go past them to go out but I waited until the party was over before I went home.

You say you don't care but come the day of their nuptial you'll slip into your Union Jack thongs, just like you do each year to commemorate Her Majesty's official birthday.

Re: The Royal Wedding , I am organising a street party
I don't know why they're arranging all these parties, I just saw an advert on TV saying we're all invited to the wedding.
I'll be washing my hair that day.

We had one in too. It was rained out and we had to go to a church hall. I snuck away during the chaos and drank some stolen beer. Pale ale as I recall. Whatever that is.
