The Mirror implying that Cardiff fans were involved. https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/footb...ouble-24810696

What I was getting at was who says "from a certain community in South London"
They'd just name the place

"THEY" did name the community although by definition it would be more than one place.

A lot of times City v City at away games.
Think the stewards might have been involved somewhere too. Looked as if a lot of it was aimed at them.
Millwall had their own stewards in their part of the stand.

I am in block 117 and had a very good view of what happened yesterday. What I do know is that at least 2 stewards had a right pasting , they were pushed backwards which made them fall over seats into the Millwall fans who preceded to punch kick and stamp all over them.It looked pretty nasty and would be suprised if the stewards didn't suffer any injuries.
The police didn't seem to want to get involved at first and were just watching. Then when all calmed down a bit they went in and took 2 guys out , don't know if they were arrested or not but they took them under the stand.Maybe they were waiting for the cctv police to tell them who to get.
Also if Cardiff had done that I think the police/stewards would be more heavy handed as all they seemed interested in was to tell us to sit down.Cardiff fans would have been definitely arrested and probably banned.
Will there be any more arrests to come following up on police cctv footage , who knows:sherlock:

Re: Millwall fans fighting each other
A Millwall fan was waiting for the bus with us on Leckwith Rd after the game, he was saddened & shocked at what went on in the away end, fan against fan, he wasn’t happy at all with some of his fellow fans behaviour. Now that’s something coming from a Millwall fan. They’ve most probably got fans miles apart from each other in their views from ‘taking the knee’ to being a member of the edl. (Other loony groups are available)

Re: Millwall fans fighting each other
Had a brief look over their messageboard.
What a bunch of arseholes.

Yes, shouldn’t tar them all with the same brush. There were some arseholes in there, but there’s been plenty of times in the past when our fans have been fighting amongst themselves or with stewards and not that long ago either.
Man City away, Chelsea away, Charlton away come to mind immediately
Doesn’t make us all dick heads when’s few of ours can’t control themselves

Waited an hour for that bus after the Barnsley game. It never turned up. Caught the train yesterday much better.

Apart from the odd pissed up scuffle ive never seen City v City ever.
I'm talking pissed up scuffles, which if we're being honest is what it was in the Millwall end.
Let's not make it into a scene out of Braveheart.

Luton away, also just before lockdown.

How does someone that's been to hundreds of away games miss all these incidents?

Didn't see anything there either inside or outside. Probably the worst facilities of any ground in the Championship, though. Doris a bit slow serving the chips at the Con Club may have sparked a riot!

As crap as that Luton away end is, give me that over the big open soulless ends like your Readings or the Jacks any day of the week. Our stadium too before Pearcey gets on my case, I just much prefer the older grounds.
You can create a proper noise in there too.

Kicked off at half time around the bar entrance.
