We seem to be seeing a smaller group of refs this season or is it my imagination?

I never even took note of who was reffing until this season - I'm still not bothered but can't avoid Tony the tit's posts at the start of each match thread and yeah i think I've noticed not a lot fo variation - but maybe it was always that way?

He was a £2m disappointment for us too yet another sick note and people were saying we should offer him a new £20k/ week contract!

How terrible that he deliberately kept getting himself injured and that the club didn't use its crystal ball to predict that he wouldn't be available for selection very often.

Re: HUDDERSFIELD TOWN v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Stick with Ojo & Bacuna or bring in Murph & Wilson?

Which is more than can be said about Tomlin's recent contract renewal. :hehe:
-
Re: HUDDERSFIELD TOWN v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Id bring in Wilson for Ojo.

Lovely position to be in, having options.
-
Re: HUDDERSFIELD TOWN v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Can Tomlin be looked at as an option? Is he match fit?

Last seen he's not even training fit!

Re: HUDDERSFIELD TOWN v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Chance to get Williams on for a run in the later stages of the game. He could be very important in the run in.
-
Re: HUDDERSFIELD TOWN v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Agree with that
Not sure how Pack is - If he starts I'd bring Ralls on for him early second half
To be fair to Pack he's been playing really well (as they all have)
Wilson has to play

I think MM will do a straight swap with Murphy and Wilson coming in. Cant see any other changes if everyone fit.

Re: HUDDERSFIELD TOWN v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Bring in Harris for Moore and keep Moore on the bench in case he is needed in the final 25 minutes. There probably won't be a better game to give him a rest any time soon.
-
Re: HUDDERSFIELD TOWN v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
If Bacuna is dropped to the bench after scoring twice in the last game, he's going to be pretty cheesed off....

Aye, hard to leave him out after that. I can see Wilson coming in for Ojo and rest unchanged.

I think that Wilson would have more reason to be upset, if he is left out, after the way he has been playing over a number of games and not just one match.
-
Re: HUDDERSFIELD TOWN v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
is the game on sky or elsewhere?

Compromise could be to play Bacuna in central midfield

No Ng obviously injured. Big miss.
-
Re: HUDDERSFIELD TOWN v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Bagan and Sang the fullbacks/wingbacks
Wilson back in as well
-
Re: HUDDERSFIELD TOWN v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Heck of a bench. Sang and Bagan starting. Will be good to see how Sang plays. He has done ok for us in the first team from the little I've seen of him.
-
Re: HUDDERSFIELD TOWN v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Ralls has to do as well as Pack has been doing.
He needs to make the passes to Wilson and Murphy
-
Re: HUDDERSFIELD TOWN v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Match facts
- In all competitions, Huddersfield are winless in 14 meetings with Cardiff (D4 L10) since a 1-0 victory in the third tier in January 2003 under Mick Wadsworth.
- Cardiff have won three of their last four league visits to Huddersfield (D1), as many as their previous 33 such trips beforehand (W3 D9 L21).
- Huddersfield are looking to defeat both Cardiff and Swansea in the same league season for the first time since 1994-95, having beaten Swansea 4-1 in February.
- Cardiff have won none of their last nine away league games played on a Friday (D4 L5) since a 4-1 win over Blackburn Rovers in December 2012.
- This will be Mick McCarthy’s 1000th career game as a manager, including both club (922 inc. this match) and internationals (78 games).
-
Re: HUDDERSFIELD TOWN v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Frequency of games means we must mix it up - worry about the over reliance on Moore tho
-
Re: HUDDERSFIELD TOWN v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
not too familiar with sang. what's he like?
-
Re: HUDDERSFIELD TOWN v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Harris in the Sky studio for the game.

Re: HUDDERSFIELD TOWN v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Interesting to see Sang right fullback. I notice MM said a few weeks ago he was training Sang into that position.

Seems like a nice man. Maybe a little too nice to have what it takes. Who knows?
How's the trucking going Jim?
