other championship signings
just seen Freddie Woodman has gone to Preston on a permanent deal.
that looks like a very good bit of business to me.
Re: other championship signings
Cauley Woodrow has signed for Luton and Josh Laurent for Stoke.

Our entry is OK for incoming (excluding the u23 which are sometimes included and for us would show Xavier Benjamin) but only half the outgoing players are shown. No Will Vaulks, no Ciaron Brown, no Leandro Bacuna, no Josh Murphy, no Isaac Vassell, and (maybe understandably) no Joe Ralls.
Re: other championship signings
Michael Smith has signed for Sheff Wed. He's scored plenty of goals in recent seasons and we've been linked with him a few times.

Re: other championship signings
We’ve missed out on all of the top Championship players. Swift. Laurent. Wallace.
One of them would have been nice!
Re: other championship signings
Bruce must have a decent budget to go after all the best players.

We were never going to get them though really

Our PowerPoint presentation to Laurent needed more slides I guess.

Strange he's gone there, was heavily linked to Hull. Can't say I'm too disappointed but we must have bigger targets.

Yet two of those top Championship players would have been in a team that would have been relegated if there were no points deductions last season.
It’s what it is. If you do sign Rinomhota you will have a player who in his own way was just as effective as Swift or Laurent.
In the meantime we look screwed and the ongoing transfer embargo is making it very hard. If we finish 21st next season I will be happy.

Agreed that it's strange in a staying-in-league-one sense, but he's no doubt had a wage increase, with geography also probably playing a part......no need to move, kids in school etc
Re: other championship signings
Joe Allen's leaving Stoke. That'll get the jacks excited.
Re: other championship signings
Burnley buying Scott Twine from MK Dons for £4m and Luke McNally from Oxford for £1.6m.

Be interesting what happens at Burnley. There's going to be a lot of turnover.
Re: other championship signings
Millwall splashing out. 1.7m for a Dutch player and another offer of 1.5m for another player.
