'Competitive and Attractive'

No I am not describing our football club.

What is more important to the success of this country, that we remain competitive and attractive to capital and the super rich or that we remain competitive and attractive to working people?

Hunt's justification of non-dom status was 'if we touch it, they will leave'. But they don't seem to apply that same logic to the average person. If I was a youngster with a sought after skillset entering the workplace, I would be getting the **** out of our low wage, *not low* tax economy.

What affects us more, a few billionaires finding somewhere else to go or the ongoing brain drain?

This country has been on the skids since Phil Collins flounced!

The what's in it for me party to a tee - I suppose they're being "compassionate" to the non doms.

It's the meritocracy party where the only merit is being rich enough.
