Clearly not seeing as they are separate organisations. Still not Queen, and I'd imagine it also has something to do with Mercury's well documented battle with AIDS and how his story would fit well with the Olympic ideal of triumphing through adversity etc. It still doesn't disprove the point that one of the bands who played Sun City were blacklisted by the UN, I can't see how that shows that people were fine with it as you seem to claim

Shirley a UN Sanction would cover all other organisations wouldn't it? Did you you just assume the aids link or have you got some documentary linkage?
I have no feelings about these performers one way or the other but people must have been fine with it or it wouldn't have happened would it?
