Another regular ref for us. Reffed us v Derby.
Quietly confident on this one, despite Blackburn's excellent form.
City 2-1

Blackburn are in the skybet saturday boost, which means we will be ruining everyone's bets. 1-0 city.

Our record v Blackburn is very good, last season apart and home advantage seems to count for little anymore.

Hope so.
Do you think there will be any team changes? I assume Bennett will come in for Cunningham, although he will be gagging to play against his loan club. Still doubts over Ralls. With Blackburn's high press we will need to be able to play long and break quickly to counteract.

Hope Bennett comes in, would like to see Pack and Ojo out the team. Like you said they like a high press, so quick counter attacking football needed - Pack certainly won't offer that. Would like to see Murphy and Tomlin come in. I've said previously on here, either give Murphy a long run in the team to build his confidence, particularly without our fans abusing him every time he breathes, as he clearly has the technical ability to be a standout player for us... or get shot of him.

Hope you're right about Pack. Bacuna and Vaulks can hold. If Ralls fit he can break forward. Thought he did ok v Forest, apart from missing a couple of decent chances. Would love Tomlin to be involved from the start , but again he didn't play a full part in training this week. Liverpool must have decreed that Oji plays so I fully expect him to start in the same side that started v Forest.

Unfortunately the weather forecast looks extremely wet and windy.
In those conditions our defence is normally struggling.
Looking at form I would have to go 3-1 Blackburn

Given the likely conditions, amazed Hoilett is starting as opposed to Murphy.
No pace in the team yet again

Agreed. We are very weak and slow in midfield. Blackburn will have us for toast.

No Ralls...no party. Hope I’m wrong!

What's his obsession with Pack & Bacuna?

Thanks to the ludicrous contract Colin gave Bacuna we are stuck with him for nearly 3 more years - probably at top dollar too
